| Announcements for this week: - 03.11 Wednesday night - Learning4Living Bible Study
- LIVE! middle school Bible study will meet at 8:15p.m. at church
- FUEL! high school Bible study is cancelled this week and will resume next week
- 03.13 Friday night - IGNITE!
- Large group is at 7:00p.m. at church. Come to learn, hang out, and eat!
- 03.14 New City Work Day
- Meet at 7:30a.m. at church. Please dress to work and appropriately for the weather. You must be in 7th grade or higher in order to participate. Expect to be back at KPC around 12:30 or 1:00p.m.

- 03.20 thru 03.21 - Youth Group Lock-In / 2nd Triple Crown Event of 2009!
- There will be an overnight lock-in at church after Friday night IGNITE! on the 20th. Along with food and hanging out, we will have our 2nd Triple Crown activity of 2009. This is a Youth Group wide event and feel free to bring friends! Our 2nd Triple Crown event of 2009 is a game that requires skill, coordination, and speed: Egyptian Rat Screw...so be sure to practice and bring your A-game!!! Snacks and breakfast for the next morning will be provided. We expect to be done around 8:30 or 9:00a.m. so please plan rides accordingly.
- 03.25 & 04.01 - Baptism Classes
- There will be 2 Baptism class on those Wednesday nights, led by Elisa, covering what it truly means to be baptized or confirmed. It is highly recommended for all Youth Group students who will be getting baptized or confirmed on Easter Sunday. If you are getting baptized or confirmed, please email back or contact Elisa as soon as possible. If you're not sure if you've been signed up for baptism or confirmation, ASK YOUR PARENTS, then contact us. These classes will be in place of Learning4Living Bible Studies for those weeks. So even if you're not getting baptized or confirmed, you are more than welcome to check out what's going on if you're interested!

| and so the long and much anticipated return of the KPCYG on XANGA has finally arrived!!! not really...but yeah, we're back....at least for now. we will be using this space to post weekly announcements, pictures, videos, etc... until we get our webpage up and running. and now....onto the announcements for this week!
wednesday night learning4living - wednesday night LIVE! middle school and FUEL! high school bible studies will meet this wednesday (TONIGHT!) at church. LIVE! will meet at 815pm with pastor paul and FUEL! will meet at 745pm with pastor john. friday night IGNITE! - we will be doing something special for large group this friday. we will be going to a cd release party for our friend and brother dishon knox, aka "born2di". he will be releasing his album "apologia". we are meeting at church at 6pm so we can arrive on time to the show. please note the earlier time. there is also a $5 entrance fee so please bring $5 or more if you would like to purchase any merchandise. lastly, please tell your parents that we expect to return to church after the show by around 945pm. morning prayer - it's the last saturday of the month which means....morning prayer! come pray with us saturday morning at 8am. afterwards, for those who would like to join, we will be getting breakfast. ------------------

I can't believe summer is already flying by. It's already July! Well, we have a lot of things coming up this summer, so please read it carefully and make sure to let everyone know.
1. This Friday morning at 11:15am, we will be meeting at church to go to Tee Time! Bring $10 for food and rides. Bring a little extra cash for video games and desserts if you want them.
2. Large Group will be this Friday night at 7pm. Please come on time so that we can play games and have lots of fun!
3. I will taking a final count for the Harry Potter movie tickets this Sunday. Please make sure that you sign-up if you want to go (the tickets need to be pre-bought) or make sure to cross yourself off if you cannot go. If your name is on the list, I will assume that you are buying a ticket.
4. Friday (7/13) is Lazar Tag day. Please be at church by 11:00am. Saturday (7/14) is IMAX Harry Potter in 3D day. Pleaes be at church for that by 11:15am.
5. J-Gen Early Registration has been extended another week. If you want to still early register, please sign up for J-Gen by this Sunday.
6. SENIORS!!! Please read this carefully. I will be having a signup this Sunday for the Senior Trip. If you do not sign up this Sunday, I will assume that you are not going. Please signup after service. This way we can finalize things for the trip. Also note that Farewell Large Group for Seniors will be on Friday (7/27).

| Hey everyone!!
Can you believe that school is almost out for everyone?
The seniors are done, Rockwood will be done this week and Parkway will be done next week. How awesome!!!!!
This means that we have a huge and awesome summer schedule coming up! With lots of fun things to do!!!!
Here are some important announcements....and a look ahead at what is to come this summer!!!
1.) Paint Ball: This Saturday HAS BEEN CANCELLED!!!! I'm sooooo sorry, but it isn't my call. It is supposed to rain like crazy! So paintball is cancelled!!!!
2.) Simon's Goodbye Party: This Saturday night at the Roh's home at 6:30pm. Be there for some GREAT food and to shower him with gifts!!!
3.) Memorial Day Fundraiser: We need lots of help. Come on out and support the volleyball team, hang with friends, and help sell some snow cones and cotton candy.
4.) VOLLEYBALL TEAM: We only have two practices left. YOU NEED TO BE THERE IF YOU WANT TO PLAY. This weekend is huge because we need to set the starting rosters and figure out how to run each team.
Saturday: 3pm. We are scrimmaging GPC
Sunday: 2:30pm. HOPE with be there and Full Gospel.
Let's see how we measure up!!!

June 15th-17th: June Revival @ KPC
June 29th: First Summer Large Group and later that night will be the Middle School Lock-In!
June 30th: Middle School 6 Flags Day
July 11th-12th: Senior Trip!!!! We will be meeting to discuss this on Sunday! So be there!
July 16th-19th: VBS (Volunteers needed! A meeting will be held this Sunday after service!)
July 27th: Last Summer Large Group and later that night Senior High Lock-In!
July 29th: Senior High 6 Flags Day
July 31st: Youth Group Canoe Day
We are still planning to add some more things to the calendar! SO LET'S GET EXCITED FOR SUMMER!!!!!
